Our clients are juggling many things day to day and are often on the go, which is why we aim to deliver the best results with minimal downtime for our clients that are relatively pain-free and get you back on your feet in no time.

We are not a beauty salon, our treatments are medical aesthetics which are non-invasive and surgery-free. We always talk through patients’ concerns with a thorough consultation and discuss whether treatment is right for them, as well as any potential aftercare.

Meet the team

Dr Katarzyna Matczak, known to her patients as Dr Kasia, graduated from the Medical University of Lodz in 2001 and spent three years acquiring dental experience working in various prestigious private dental practices and a hospital.

She moved to the UK in 2004 and at the beginning of 2005 started working as a cosmetic dentist in a private City practice in London, where she had the opportunity to observe aesthetic doctors inject botox and dermal fillers.

Instantly, Dr Kasia loved the idea of combining cosmetic dentistry with aesthetic treatments as she has always been passionate about the importance of looking good, having healthy-looking skin and a beautiful smile.

In 2010 Dr Kasia finished her first botox and dermal filler training and worked to continuously upgrade her skills and injection techniques through hands-on training courses.

In April 2021, after eleven years of doing injectables, dealing with many skin conditions like acne, rosacea, and skin blemishes, and getting to know the best techniques to treat them, such as cryopen and the diathermy method, Kasia decided to open Southsea Skin Co clinic with her business partner Nicole.

Dr Kasia is a Save Face registered practitioner and strictly follows all the necessary guidelines, rules and regulations.

Save Face is a national register of accredited practitioners who provide non-surgical cosmetic treatment and is accredited by the Professional Standard Authority.

Dr Kasia believes that excellent patient care, high standards of practice and training go hand in hand with delivering great treatment outcomes.

With a variety of roles including her aesthetic treatments at Southsea Skin Co.  Nicole is a Clinical Teaching Fellow at the University of Portsmouth Dental Academy and is involved in training Student Nurses, Hygienists, Therapists and Dentists. She also works in a local Southsea Dental practice providing periodontal services to patients.

After qualifying in 2009 to provide aesthetic treatments, Nicole completed her basic and advanced Botox and Fillers training and since then has built up her portfolio by attending accredited training courses in all aspects of skincare and skin rejuvenation.

In her spare time Nicole is an avid sportswoman. Enjoying various challenges such as Spartan, Hyrox, National Fitness Games to name but a few. To relax Nicole likes spending time with her dog Molly, socialising with friends and reading.

Nicole believes in treating each person as an individual. Clients at Southsea skin co are cared for, listened to and understood no matter how complex or simple their needs or medical conditions are. Clients trust in the knowledge and values that Nicole instills into her everyday practice, amplified by continual professional development, peer group learning and reflective practice.
